I’m very excited to announce the release of an update to one of Force.com Labs most popular apps ever: the Adoption Dashboards. This all new app includes three all new dashboards: User Logins, Key Feature Adoption and Sales & Marketing Adoption. Special thanks to Kevin Sciolino, Senior Customer Success Manager, for all of his hard work in putting these together.
Check them out today! salesforce.com Adoption Dashboards (2011)
I unveiled some new apps at the Kansas City User Group* yesterday, and it's now my privilege to share them with you. Before I do, however, let's take a look at the Top 11 Force.com Labs apps for the last month. (Why 11? Metallica. That's why.**)
You'll notice that I've added a couple of links to Github repos. Almost all Force.com Labs apps are… Continue reading
Dreamforce 11 is rapidly approaching and our developer track is filling in nicely. If you haven't had a chance, you should check out Code Share on DeveloperForce and take a look at some of the latest entries–lots of great stuff happening.
Are you working on an open source project? Do you want to connect with other practitioners and the larger community while at Dreamforce? If so, I definitely want to talk to you.
Please drop at a note to… Continue reading
Yes, it's the Tuesday after Memorial Day weekend and you, like me, are back at work. And maybe, also a little like me, you're starting the day saying, "Now what?"
So let me answer that for you: you should immediately do two things. First, sign up for the Force.com Dev Meetup that's coming to Chicago on June 7 — yes, that's right after Cloudforce Chicago and you can easily attend both. Second, you should sign up for Dreamforce using the very special developer discount code our own Mr. Nick Tran put together for you.
I'll let the Dreamforce site tell you why you should join… Continue reading

Richard Vanhook and I are throwing together a Documentation Jam to document the excellent Apex Lang open source library that many Force.com Community members have participated in. Stay tuned for more details but in the mean time be sure to save the date:
Friday, May 20, 2011, 1p – 4p Central Time.
The goals are simple:
Questions? Comments? Reply here. Watch this space for more details next week.
Force.com Labs has been busy over the last few weeks. Here's a quick round up of new apps which you — yes, you — must take a look at.
Salesforce for Twitter v3 is now Salesforce for Twitter and Facebook v4. Yes — you read that right — a whole new social network AND a new version number from the app you know and love. This is hot off the presses, so be sure to be the first to tweet about it.
Chatter Blacklist came out of a couple of weeks ago and it's ****** awesome. Wait how did those asterisks… Continue reading
It’s been a big month for movers and shakers on the Force.com Labs charts. Notice that we have a new king: Milestones PM!

Have a question? Just ask.
It's spring again and your users' minds are turning to one thing and one thing only: college basketball. Yes, that's right: it's time for the NCAA's "March Madness" Men's College Basketball Tournament. This year, for the first time ever, your users can have fun in your org while staying focused on work with a new tournament management app from Force.com Labs, Brackets.
Brackets is simple. You install it from the AppExchange and import a tournament. Your imported tournament includes all the teams and match ups–no data entry required. Users join a pool and make predictions. As the tournament progresses, users are… Continue reading
