Be the first on your block to play with some of the new feature
s from the next release of Salesforce CRM and Force.com. Spring '09 promises to bring some great features – visit the IdeaExchange to see what's Coming in Spring '09.

Some of my favorite features:

  • Cases in PRM

  • Cross-Object Workflow Rules
  • Slick Enhancements to Page Layout
    Builder (including blanks spaces!)

I highly recommend attending our Spring '09 Release Preview webinar on January 15th at 1pm PST to learn more. Register for the webinar here.

When ready, you can sign-up for a blank Spring '09 Pre-Release org here and start exploring all of the new features. You will need to login here to access Pre-Release: https://prerellogin.pre.salesforce.com/

Please Note: Spring '09 Pre-Release orgs are separate from your production and development orgs. Customizations and data will not be migrated to production after Spring '09 Pre-Release ends.

Really great the new Edit Layout functionnality …
However, my logo is still the one of the Winter 09 release … But the new updates are activated in there …

Dont click on “Sign Up now” button on a login page. It points to last year Spring 08. Correct link is https://prerelwww.pre.salesforce.com/form/trial/prerelease_spring09.jsp

    “Cross-Object Workflow Rules”
Is this really coming in Spring 09? I have a pre-release org and see no evidence of this feature and it also is not listed as “coming in spring 09″ on the idea exchange. I can’t find anyone else who is talking about this feature so can you please provide more information on what exactly cross object workflow will look like in this release?
Also – any news on when release notes will be published?
    Thanks!

    Hi Bethany,
Yes – it is true. :-)
You can read about it on page 97 of the release notes:
